The Short List
An enormous amount of information about race and racism is available online, enough to make it difficult to know where to begin. The BUUF Racial Justice Ministry has assembled the following short lists – one for books and articles and one for videos and feature films. Many other print and video materials could be included. But we wanted to keep the lists short and we think these materials provide important building blocks for understanding race and racism in the U. S.
NOTE: In addition to the listed sources, these books and videos might be available from your local library.
