  • Fall Social Justice Resolutions
    • Supporting Immigrants, Refugees and Asylum Seeker
    • Dismantling Racism
      • Don and Mary Beth will present the plan going forward
        • The resolution will be submitted to the Board for a vote by the congregation with the following changes
          • The resolution will be updated with new information in the whereas clauses and
          • a cover letter will be attached and give to the Board
      • the council agrees with the plan to move forward with edits  developed and put forth by the  Racial Justice Ministry
  • Fall Social Justice Resolutions Feedback Day debrief
    • discuss what did and didn’t work
      • didn’t work – walking in w/ an agenda,

  • December  17, 2019 Social Justice Soiree
    • Tess is the the lead person for the event
      • venue — Black History Museum — 6 – 8
        • open at 4:30 for set up
      • SJC – will bring treats
      • It will be a potluck for food and drinks
      • would like name tags     
  • Feb 2020 Social Justice Workshop 
    •  taking it to the next level
    • theme – Intersectionality
    • would like to expand to include the pride and food ministry
    • 29th (preferred) Leap for Justice
      • 22nd if can’t get 29th
      • 3 hours on Saturday morning.
