We are thrilled to announce that the BUUF building has officially reached 80% carbon neutrality! 

Through our Fall 2024 HVAC upgrades—switching from natural gas to high-efficiency electric heat pumps—we’ve slashed our building’s footprint from over 32 tons of CO2e per year to just 7 tons. Combined with our natural landscaping offsets, we are well on our way to our goal of being 100% Carbon Neutral by 2050.

This isn’t just about a building; it’s about our commitment to a healthier Boise and a sustainable future for all.
