Support BUUF RE
There are many ways for Boise Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (BUUF) members to support the mission of Religious Exploration (RE). By mentoring, volunteering in classes, or simply engaging with young people in the congregation, members help create a nurturing environment where youth can explore their beliefs and develop a strong ethical foundation. Supporting youth on their spiritual journey enriches their lives. It strengthens the future of BUUF, fostering a community rooted in shared values of inclusion, justice, the dignity of all people, and mutual respect. Whether through teaching, organizing events, or providing a welcoming space for questions and growth, your participation ensures that BUUF remains a vibrant and inclusive congregation for future generations.
Currently, we offer two ways members help the development of RE:
- Sign up to be a Weekly Assistant in one of our three RE programs: the nursery (ages 0-5), Children’s RE (ages 6-11), or Youth RE (ages 11-16). Volunteering as an assistant does not require training; we ask our assistants to help us by being in the space, helping manage the class, and developing relationships with the youth of our congregation.
- Please consider filling out our Volunteer Registration/Interest Form. This is in no way a commitment to volunteer; the purpose of the form is to gather interest and skills that our members are willing to share to help develop BUUF’s Religious Exploration program.
