- BUUF Social Justice Resolution: Faithful Defiance of Authoritarianism: A Call to Action by the Boise Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
- From the BUUF Social Justice Council: The plans outlined in Project 2025 are rolling out daily. Nationalism, racism, transphobia, and patriarchy are reordering our world in material, ideological, and spiritual ways. But today, we must also understand who we are called to be and what we are called to do in this moment.
- AIW: Faithful Defiance of Authoritarianism, a Call to Action: Reaffirming Our Covenants for Democracy and Freedom!

- This resolution will be brought to the congregation for discussion and vote
- Statement: A Spiritual Call for Repair and Healing through Reparations
- Sponsored by the Racial Justice Ministry
- Turn statement into a resolution
- “Whereas” are the Why, “so be it resolved” are the actions
- Fall 2025 resolutions
- There will be two resolutions to congregational discussion and vote
- Each resolution will have their own discussion/feedback sessions
- Both resolutions will be voted on in the same ballot
- Time line for fall resolutions:
- Oct/Nov/Dec, gather feedback from the congregations with in person feedback sessions,
- Mid to late January put out ballots & hold a congregational vote
- Supporting Oct 18th No Kings Rally
- Do Process Chorus will be a present
- Would be nice to have a “unified” BUUF Presentation

- homeless situation is devastation due to current laws, Boise policy have been great but will when there is a complaint
- Folks are moving out to the desert, with winter coming it will be bad
- Working with Hispanic center, Roger S has been a help, would be great if RJM has a liaison with them, Mark can make a intro for a RJM person
- Needs storage for things donated, would like something like the storage box that’s in the BUUF parking lot – Rev Sara will coordinate with staff or build another shed
