BUUF hosts many weddings, memorials, and other rites of passage. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and staff shortages, Boise UU Fellowship is not taking reservations for outside events at this time. Please check back in the future for updates to our operations.

Wedding services at the Boise Unitarian Universalist Fellowship are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the love of two individuals who have chosen to come together in marriage.

Because of our strong respect for each person’s beliefs and values, every wedding is custom-crafted with the couple to reflect their personalities and relationship. This respect, and our flexibility, enable Unitarian Universalist ministers to be skilled officiants for interfaith weddings, atheist weddings, and weddings for those with Unitarian Universalism’s diverse beliefs.

Our church and our ministers joyfully marry couples of all gender identities and sexual orientations. We believe love makes a family and being a religious voice for the LGBTQ+ community is a vital ministry to our members, friends, and our community. Unitarian Universalists affirm the inherent worth and dignity of all people and have a long history of promoting equal rights for people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, transgender, queer, intersex and asexual (see our LGBTQ+ welcoming congregation page for more information). At BUUF, we have long supported Idaho’s Add the Words campaign.
